What is Red Yeast Rice Extract?
Red yeast rice, also known as red dregs, red currant, is made by Aspergillus fungus purple-red Aspergillus parasitic on japonica rice, the main components are lovastatin, red pigment, г-aminobutyric acid, and unsaturated fatty acids, with the function of "activating blood circulation, removing blood stasis, strengthening the spleen and eliminating food, warming the middle and stomach".
