Ajuga Turkestanica Extract is the whole herb of the dicotyledonous plant Labiatae, which has the effect of clearing heat and cooling blood, reducing heat and swelling, mainly treating lung heat and hemoptysis, reducing heat and swelling, and other symptoms.
It contains hydroxy ecdysterone, β-ecdysone, cyasterone, ajugasterones B and C, ajugalactone, kiransin, and also reported to contain flavonoid glycosides, saponins, alkaloids, organic acids, phenolic compounds, tannins, etc. It is also said to contain lignocaine.
