What is 80% yeast beta-glucan?
Yeast-β-glucan dextran , glucan is also known as dextran. It is a kind of polysaccharide. It exists in the mucus secreted by certain microorganisms in the process of growth. Modern research has found that Agaricus blazei contains the most abundant and highly bioactive B glucan. Glucans have high molecular weight and are mainly composed of D-glucopyranose connected by α,1→6 bonds, with branched chain points connected by 1→2, 1→3, 1→4, and the highest biological activity of β-glucans bound by β-1,3/-1,6. The structure and function differed with the microbial species and growth conditions.
